DIRECTOR STATEMENT

"A Priceless Proposal" is a story that's important to tell, especially in today's climate of LGBT representation in media. Specifically, lesbian films can often feel out of touch with lesbians themselves. Lesbians in media rarely have a happy ending and instead face severe homophobia or die by the end of the story. This doesn't allow lesbians a sense of escapism within media, and instead reminds them of the harsh reality that they live. Our goal with "A Priceless Proposal" is to share something lighthearted yet interesting that lesbians can identify with. However, we want it to be enjoyable for all audiences and exemplify what lesbian media has the potential to be.
